The Women go to War: Behind the Fierce Battle to Become the Dominant Diva

Wanted: Beautiful, charismatic, athletic, dominant female for the position of No. 1 Diva in sports-entertainment. Inquire within…

Early in the evolution of the human species, females fought with each other for dominance within their primitive community. Whether for food, protection, attention or males, females would become ultra-aggressive when it came time to prove their dominance. Millions of years later, women still occasionally display these innate social behaviors. Such is the case with the ladies in the world of sports-entertainment. Since there can be only one dominant female in this business, the Divas are competing for the top spot and holding back nothing on their way to Superstardom.

With the recent increase of femme fatales appearing on WWF programming, the stakes are higher that ever before, and the race for female dominance has begun anew. Simply being the most popular and best recognized isn’t the only requirement to being the No. 1 Diva in the realm of sports-entertainment. It also takes physicality and pure athleticism to reach the top. The benefits that come with this lofty status-media appearances, notoriety and success, not to mention wealth-are equivalent to that of any Hollywood starlet. These perks can be enough to make even the most demure lady behave like a wild woman. But just how far will these voluptuous vixens go to be No. 1?

Because there are so many unique and gorgeous ladies in the world of sports-entertainment, narrowing down the filed to just a select few is not an easy task. Due to the intense competition for the position of leading lady, it appears some Divas may stand out as the forerunners in this primeval battle, but at this point, it is still anybody’s game.

While the Divas who have remained loyal to the World Wrestling Federation are clearly the fan favorites, and the Alliance ladies are vocal about not caring whether WWF fans like them or not, all of the women much be considered contenders. In the struggle for dominance, company lines blur, and the women know that they much compete with each other in order to be on top. The more crafty women have already secured allies to watch their backs-Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler, for example, formed such a bond, and Lita and Trish put aside their differences to fight Torrie and Stacy at Invasion.

World Wrestling Federation Magazine has concluded an in-depth study of those ambitious women-to help fans decide which is destined to rule as Dominant Diva.

Molly Holly
Many of the Divas came to the WWF looking for stardom and notoriety. Molly Holly, however, is not one; she came to the WWF to help her family. Molly may have had a naïve upbringing, but she will fight for something she believes in. When her cousins Hardcore and Crash waged war, she was right beside them, fighting like a trooper. After her cousins disowned her because of her relationship with Spike Dudley, Molly vehemently defended his honor, receiving a powerbomb through a table courtesy of the Dudleyz and a Stone Cold Stunner from Steve Austin.

While Molly is not actively pursuing her role of No. 1 female in sports-entertainment, if the opportunity were to come her way, she wouldn’t let it pass. Gifted with amazing agility and technical savvy, Molly could easily surprise fans worldwide by claiming the vacant throne.

The chances are that one of these nine nymphs will become the dominant female in not just the WWF, but all of sports-entertainment in the near future. The role is open and all one needs is athletic ability, intelligence, beauty, charisma-and an ability to destroy anyone in her way. Who will emerge victorious in the quest for dominance? No one knows. But in the meantime, the men should remain on guard as much as the women. For since the beginning of time, women have used their wiles to get ahead… even if they had to break a few hearts to do it.
