Mini-Bio: There’s a darn good reason why Molly Holly is such a strong technical wrestler: She was trained by Dean Malenko, “The Man Of 1,000 Holds”… After working for two years on the Florida indy scene, she signed a deal with WCW in 1999… Christened Miss Madness, Molly, sporting beautiful long, blond hair, allied with Randy Savage, Madusa, and Gorgeous George as Team Madness… While it was a high-profile position, she yearned to compete full-time, and the WCW women’s division was dormant at the time… WCW ran out of ideas for her and she debuted in WWE on November 6, 2000… Once again, her desire to compete as a serious wrestler took a backseat, as she was paired with “cousins” Bob and Crash Holly, and later The Hurricane (as superhero Mighty Molly) in comedy roles… Despite the goofy gimmicks, it was obvious she was a formidable wrestler… Dyed her hair black and began berating other divas for dressing so provocatively… Finally got a chance to shine in June 2002, beating Trish Stratus for the title… Trish got revenge by making fun of the size of Molly’s posterior, a taunt that has haunted Molly ever since… Forget about the junk in Molly’s trunk — she won the title again on July 2003 and defended it against Trish, Ivory, and Lita on several occasions… Lost the gold to Victoria in a four-way elimination bout on February 23… Was so confident she’s regain it at Wrestlemania XX that she put her hair up… Victoria pinned her and shaved her bald… Still hasn’t gotten over that and has taken to wearing wigs (with chin straps) to the ring since, although they usually come off during the course of matches.
