Competing on “Fear Factor,” winning the Women’s Championship, getting my head shaved at WrestleMania XX… people may remember me for all these things. They are great accomplishments, but there is something else I would rather be remembered for: My love and devotion to Jesus Christ.
I always knew there was a God, but it wasn’t until I was 14 that I decided to have a personal relationship with Him. Knowing Christ as my best friend and lover of my soul has truly made life worth living.
All the money and all the fame are nothing compared to the peace I have in my heart. I am ever dependant on God’s grace and mercy.
I am not perfect. In fact, I screw up all the time. That’s why I am so thankful God’s love is unconditional. No matter how badly I hurt myself or others, God’s love for me never changes. When I ask God to forgive me – forgive my stupid decisions – He always does. Gods isn’t into “guilt trips”… He is just into love.
God loves you. Even if you don’t believe in Him. He loves you. If you want Jesus Christ to be your #1 in your life, all you have to do is ask.
He is listening.
