#QUESTION OF THE WEEK

Week #1 – April 23 to April 29
Name: JS
Question: I’ve always wondered why you left Minnesota for Florida right out of high school?
Answer: Great question! A few of my friends were moving down there and they invited me to join them. I thought I would just stay down there until I ran out of money. I told my family I was just going on a long vacation. I had no idea it would be a vacation that lasted over 5 years! Moving across the country right out of high school was a wonderful way to jump right into real life. I learned many important lessons my first few years there, and Florida will always hold a special place in my heart.

Week #2 – April 30 to May 6
Name: Scott Anderson
Question: How did you feel when you stepped off the plane at MSP from Guatemala?
Answer: Warm. And a little worried because I had no idea who was picking me up from the airport. The school just said they would send someone to get me. I was praying I would see someone with my name on a sign. I saw a sign that read ” Lora Greenwald ” Close enough I thought, so I told him that was me, so if there is a Lora that never found her ride- Sorry ;-)

Week #3 – May 7 to May 13
Name: Sara
Question: How long did you pursue your powerlifting career after you were a teenager? what were your best ever lifts on the bench and any other events you competed in?
Answer: My best bench press in competition was 145 lbs. I think I may have benched 150 or 155 lbs in my high school gym class, but without the pause at the chest, and I may have broken a few other ADFPA rules.
For squat and dead lift, I only did “token lifts.”
When someone is going for a record in just one event, it is common to just go through the motions with just the bar for the other 2 events. It shows you are not trying to win with totals. The best of the best can go for records in more than one event in one competition.
So here are my best lifts in competition:
bench- 145 lbs
squat- 45 lbs
deadlift- 45 lbs

Week #4 – May 14 to May 20
Name: Kosta
Question: Which divas did you enjoy working with the most?
Answer: I really liked working with Gail Kim as a tag partner because she was really laid back before the show, but knew how to crank it up at showtime.
I like working against Stacy Keibler because she always had a positive attitude and she always surprised me in the ring with her athleticism.
I liked working with Lita because she was so popular with the fans, no one went to get popcorn during our matches.
I liked working with Victoria because she was so strong. I knew I was safe in her hands.
I liked working with Christy Hemme because she was full of youthful enthusiasm.
Honestly I can’t think of any girl in the WWE I didn’t like working with. They were all really co-operative and professional. It’s hard to nail it down to one favorite.

Week #5 – May 21 to May 27
Name: Deltaqueen
Question: Hi Nora, this is my question. While you were wrestling in the WWE you were with a group of extremely talented wrestlers – Trish Stratus, Lita, Jazz, Ivory, Gail Kim, Jacqueline – which of them consistently gave you the toughest matches, and if you were to step back into the ring next week for a charity match with no WWE type restrictions like 3 minute time limits or you can only can do a certain number of moves etc. who would you pick as your opponent to give the best possible and most entertaining match to the public, and why her?
Answer: My toughest matches were against Jacqueline. If I were to have another match, I would like it to be against the greatest women’s champion of all time, Harvey Whippleman. No seriously, it would be cool to be in the ring with Luna Vachon. She is an amazing pro-wrestler and I would learn a lot from her.

Week #6 – May 28 to June 3
Name: JS
Question: Nora, thanks for the great answer of my previous question! Even though I’m from Rhode Island, I’ve always been a big Vikings fan, are you? Have you been to many games?
Answer: I used to watch football as a kid with my dad and brothers every Sunday after church. In 1996 I followed the Denver Broncos. I loved the 4th quarter come backs. I have never been to a NFL game. I always say the Vikings are my favorite team, but I really haven’t watched much TV in the last 8 years.

Week #7 – June 4 to June 10
Name: Jeff Wilson
Question: Any chance that you are making an appearance in Oregon anytime soon so I can add an autograph to my random stuff?
Answer: I have no plans to visit Oregon this summer. You should talk to local promoters and ask them to bring me in for an autograph signing. I would love to sign a photo for you.

Week #8 – June 11 to June 17
Name: Jess J.
Question: I loved when you were Mighty Molly, and was wondering if you could be a super hero, what would your powers be and what would you call yourself? xoxo
Answer: I used to have dreams all the time that I could breath underwater and it was awesome! So, I guess I would like to be a super hero who can breath under water. Maybe I would be a life guard at a beach in California. My name would be Agua Aliento.

Week #9 – June 18 to June 24
Name: Terry
Question: When you did the gimmick with the Hurricane. What was the reason for it to discontinued?
Answer: I have no idea why the gimmick was discontinued. There are a team of writers backstage that write the storylines. They just tell me what to do when I get to the arena. One day they just said I was going to wack Hurricane over the head with a fry pan and then another day they told me I was going to wack ( was it Trish or Terry?) one of the Diva’s over the head with a paddle. I enjoyed working with Hurricane.

Week #10 – June 25 to July 1
Name: Robert
Question: Hi Nora, I was interested to know, which female finishing move was the hardest to take in the ring, and which do you find the most effective finisher, other than your own lol.
Answer: The hardest to take was Jacqueline’s DDT. My neck always hurt for weeks afterward. I think Victoria’s Widow’s Peak is pretty cool. It was stolen from Roderick Strong, and it is very effective.

Week #11 – July 2 to 8
Name: Clment
Question: It’s very awesome that you went to Guatemala and helped all the cool peeps over there. Were any of the wrestling organizations you worked with involved with community service? or is community service a strictly individual endeavor?
Answer: There are wrestling shows out there that raise money for certain charities or individuals in need. I have been apart of the Jeff Peterson Cup in Florida and a few others, but the majority of community service that I partake in is not related to the wrestling world.

Week #12 – July 9 to 15
Name: Jonathan
Question: If you could sum these women wrestlers and divas personalities up in one word, how would you describe them:
Gail Kim
Trish Stratus
Nidia
Victoria
Jazz
Jacqueline Moore
Terri Poch
Lita
and Jackie Gadya
Thanks for your time Ms. Greenwald and I hope to see you back in wrestling someday. Bye now peace.
Answer: I can’t answer questions that require me to have a broad vocabulary. Once I had a friend tell me I always say things are “good” or “nice” like the Delicious Dish skit on Saturday Night Live. All of those girls are “nice” and they are all “good” performers.

Week #13 – July 16 to July 22
Name: Jacob Walker
Question: After having your head shaved at WrestleMania XX what did you do with the hair?
Answer: I have the hair from WMXX in a plastic bag in a fire proof safe along with my birth certificate and stuff. If you know anyone who is willing to pay top dollar for a locket of it, let me know :-)

Week #14 – July 23 to July 29
Name: Eric Collins
Question: What made you decide to be a Christian?
Answer: It is hard to explain exactly, but I felt God was pulling on my heart strings. God wanted me to draw near to Him and I felt it deep inside. It got to a point where I couldn’t ignore Him anymore. I reached out to Him and He has held me close ever since.

Week #15 – July 30 to August 5
Name: Anthony
Question: Hey Nora! I have always wondered… why did you change your hair from blonde to brown around 2002. I stopped watching wrestling from 2000-2004 and when I started watching again, your beautiful blonde hair had gone nonetheless. You look great with brown hair too! Anyway thank you for your time and it would be great if you could answer!
Answer: I dyed my hair dark for 2 reasons. First of all I wanted to visually create a new image of Molly Holly since I was becoming a villian. Next, it was because I was tired of putting harmful scalp scalding chemicals on my hair every week.

Week #16 – August 6 to August 12
Name: Harlan
Question: Hi Nora, your the best and I think it’s great that you are a faith seeker. I’m curious, what have you been up to lately outside of indie events, etc. Have you started any companies or business. I really miss you on WWE tv. I was a fan since the WCW Miss Madness days , which was an awesome gimmick.. don’t know why WCW dropped the whole Macho Valets thing, but I guess that was wacky WCW. By the way since I’m on the subject I guess I have a second part to my question. What was it like working with Randy Savage? Oh yeah?
Answer: I have real estate investment properties that I manage. I recommend for everyone to read the book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”. It teaches you how to make your money work for you so you don’t have to work for your money. I spend time researching other investment opportunities daily. Macho Man was very intense and motivated. He taught me how to be on top of my game, and how to handle my money so that I could retire before I was 30.

Week #17 – August 13 to August 19
Name: Austin Palmer
Question: Hey Nora, You have answered questions about your favorite Divas you worked with. But which current WWE Diva would you most want to work with that you maybe didn’t get the chance to while you were in the WWE?
Answer: I would love to work with Beth Phoenix. She is amazing. The girl wrestled on her high school wrestling team, then moved on to pro wrestling. I have seen photos of her pressing men over her head in matches. She is a natural on the microphone, and over all has fantastic ring presence. She will no doubt be a legend in the world of wrestling someday.

Week #18 – August 20 to August 26
Name: Deltaqueen
Question: Of all the male wrestlers you have tag teamed with who was your favorite, & which current guy you haven’t wrestled with would you jump at the chance to team up with?
Answer: Tagging with Crash was the most fun. I would have loved to tag with Scotty 2 Hotty.

Week #19 – August 27 to September 2
Name: TorrieFan
Question: First off, I would just like to say that Nora, you’re one of my favorite women wrestlers of all time and I miss seeing you in the ring. I hope to see you wrestling again someday. Okay, now for the question. Nora, what do you think of Torrie Wilson? Do you think she’s a better wrestler than what she was in WCW? Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to answer my questions.
Answer: Torrie Wilson has improved so much over the last few years. I think she should have a run at the women’s title. She has put more time into the business than almost any girl currently in the WWE. She is a very beautiful person, inside and out.

Week #20 – September 3 to September 9
Name: Rey Sung
Question: Hi Nora!!! What was it like being in the ring with Jacqueline?
Answer: Jacqueline was always one of my toughest opponents. I never walked away from a match with her without a few bruises.

Week #21 – September 10 to September 16
Name: Chris
Question: Hi Nora, I have a question. If WWE called you up right now and said, ‘we want you back’, would you take them up on the offer or decline?
Answer: I was just at the WWE show in Minneapolis on Sept 8th. I had a wonderful time visiting with old friends, but after a few hours I had satisfied my desire to be there.
I would sign a 1 year contract with the WWE for 1 million dollars and the stipulation that I only work 1 day a week (preferably the towns I love to visit, like Asheville NC, Las Vegas NV, and St. Johns Newfoundland Canada.)
But as far as accepting the traditional 3 year contract for peanuts: I would decline.

Week #22 – September 17 to September 23
Name: Heather
Question: What do you look for in a guy?
Answer: In a guy I look for a passion for serving Jesus Christ.

Week #23 – September 24 to September 30
Name: Roopesh
Question: Hi Molly, are you going to visit India? I am from India.
Answer: I would love to visit India someday.

Week #24 – October 1 to October 7
Name: deltaqueen
Question: If you were to leave Minnesota for ever, where else in the States/World could you happily spend the rest of your life?
Answer: I love Asheville NC. I wish my whole family would move there.
