03/17/2002 WrestleMania X8 ››› In the back, Coach finds the hiding Hurricane and asks him about him looking at the Godfather’s women. Helms says that he’s not a HurriPerve; he’s the HurriHardcore Champion! Molly flies in and calls for the HurriCycle, but then hits Helms with a frying pan! She pins her partner 1-2-3! In the back, Molly runs down the halls to find sanctuary, but a door suddenly closes in her face! As she falls down cold, Christian comes out and pins 1-2-3!

04/21/2002 Backlash ››› Trish Stratus comes out first. Surprisingly, Molly comes out next. Molly gets on the mic and says the fans don’t want their Women’s champ to be a cheater and they want their champ to be pure. Molly then attacked Trish with the mic. Molly threw Trish outside of the ring and was thrown into the steps. Jazz then comes out and takes advantage of a weakened Trish. Jazz punches Trish ala Shane McMahon. Trish comes back and whips Jazz into the rope and delivers a kick to Jazz’s head. Trish puts Jazz onto the top rope and delivers her handspring hurricanranna. Trish whips Jazz into the rope and attempts a back body drop, but Jazz counters it into a sitdown powerbomb. Close two count for Jazz. Jazz proceeds to choke Trish on the ropes. Jazz attempts a splash in the corner, but Trish moved. Trish looked for the Stratusfaction, but Jazz countered into a belly to back suplex. Jazz puts Trish in the boston crab, eventually turns it into the STF and Trish taps.

06/23/2002 King of the Ring ››› Molly attacks Trish to start the women’s title match but Trish fights back with some punches but walks straight into the body drop. Cover by Molly and Trish kicks out. Arm bar take down by Molly but Trish reverses it into a cover which ends at two. Trish with a victory roll but again Molly kicks out, not once but like four times in all. Molly then drop kicks Trish to the outside and rams her into the ring mat viciously. Trish gets whipped into the barricade and over but Molly flips her back to the mat before throwing her back into the ring. Trish kicks Molly in the head as she’s getting back before crotching her on the top rope. They continue to go at it before Molly hits a belly to back suplex followed by a cover which Trish kicks out of. Molly heads to the top rope where she misses the Molly go Round. Trish rolls her up for a pin, but Molly reverses it and holds Trish’s tights for the 1-2-3 victory. Molly is the new WWE women’s champion.

09/22/2002 Unforgiven ››› Trish and Molly lock up and Trish puts her in a modified full nelson but Molly wiggles out and throws Trish to the mat with a handful of hair. They go at it with some lockups and reversals before Molly takes Trish down with a Fireman’s carry. They get back and Trish hits Molly with a dropkick and a neckbreaker and goes for the cover, but just near fall. Molly knocks Trish down and then tries to charge in after her but runs into a kick. Molly recovers though and hits a snap suplex and slams Trish to the mat with another handful of hair. She grabs Trish by the hair once more and throws her to the outside where she further slams Trish into the steel steps. Irish whip into the ring barricade and they head back in where Molly twists Trish’s arms around her own neck in some odd submission move. Trish finally flips Molly over but Molly comes running back with a dropkick to the head. Molly tries for a suplex, but Trish counters it into a rollup, but gets two nearfalls instead. Drop toe hold by Molly but Trish maneuvers out of it and hits a modified bulldog that gets two. Trish with a chick kick and another cover but Molly fights out and heads to the top where she gets crotched. Trish tries a handspring but Molly ties her up in the corner and hits a handspring from the other side. Kicks to the lower back by Molly and they do a little sequence that ends with Trish getting in a bulldog. And that does it as she covers Molly and gets the win. Winner: Trish Stratus. As Trish makes her way up the ramp, Coach interviews her about winning the championship. Trish basically says that she lives for moments like this, waves to the crowd and then leaves.
