Several sources have confirmed that Molly Holly’s departure from World Wrestling Entertainment was a mutual decision with Holly approaching the company about it on Monday’s RAW. Her release was nothing to do with the recent cuts, but due to the fact that she had been unhappy for some time and clearly wanted out.
As per usual with WWE release clauses, it’s expected that Holly will be unable to compete for 90 days meaning she would be available to work in early July.
There’s no word on whether she will be able to use the Molly Holly name, which WWE created, outside of the company.

Details are emerging that Molly Holly asked to be released from the company rather than being victim of the post-WrestleMania cuts. Unhappy with the direction her character was recently moving towards to, Holly met with WWE officials on Monday at the site of RAW and both parties worked out a solution. Her last match in the company was on RAW on Monday night shortly before her release, jobbing to Christy Hemme in a tag team match.

Molly Holly was said to have negotiated her release on Monday during a 15 minute discussion with John Laurinatis. Holly had apparently pushed to be turned babyface before requesting the release, but WWE officials didn’t feel she would fit that role well. According to sources close to Holly, she has been wavering back and forth on whether she is even interested in staying in the business or leaving it altogether.

Many people are saying that WWE has removed Molly’s profile from WWE.com however all they did is remove the links to it. You can still get to her profile, as of this update, here
